Sketch and Release

Seems like ages since I've just drifted off and sketched a huge page of figures in ink. It's been good to take a break, try some new mediums & content, then come back to something familiar. Enjoy.

Niice!! I like how your gesturals together make up an interesting art piece. Mine really do just look like scribbles on a piece of paper. Great movement and thick lines! :D

Thanks Captn! Saw your latest sewing machine creations! 'awesome' right back at you.

Hey Elise, thanks. the dark outlines are just done with a sharpie after I'd finished doodleing. Try it with your own gesturals and post em up for us to see!

Is that Aang the Last Airbender I see? XD

So how long does it take for you to sketch each figure?

Anth! when are we going to see your pretty face at sketch group again? :D

OH MAN!!! I can't believe you saw that!... I was watching the finale eps of The Last Airbender while I drew these. :D You've got beady eye there Mr Anonymous. Love it!

The whole A2 page was the result of a couple of hours of doodling... so maybe a couple of minutes each?

Francisco: I love you so much I hate you too! :D

Yeh man, its always good to just doodle your brain out onto a big piece of paper. In a way its like problem solving, exploring and inventing all at once!!
